Dark portrait of 'Painter of Light'

'Thomas Kinkade is famous for his luminous landscapes and street scenes, those dreamy, deliberately inspirational images he says have brought "God's light" into people's lives, even as they have made him one of America's most collected artists... Bonjour RS,

Just reading the story of Mr. Kinkade and his dark side. Well, if I may say so, any artist can have his dark side as long as he produces good works.

However, what makes me suspicious is the fact that this guy seems to talk a lot about Jesus and Christianity in relation to his art. We have here a kind of proverb meaning something like " the thing you are talking about endlessly, you don't have it".
In other words, never trust a chappie who talks to to you about his honesty, good bet he is a scoundrel.
