Multimedia on demand dominates Vegas CES



'Multimedia on demand, and on the move, was the key theme of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, with Microsoft, Intel, Hewlett Packard and Google all making major announcements. The drive towards accessing movies, TV shows and music via the internet was also given a boost with loss of any hope that rival new blue laser disc formats will unite. Both Blu-ray and HD-DVD are now committed to separate commercial launches in 2006.' More
